Nieuwe repeater in regio Vlissingen: PI2VLI analoog
Er zijn ontwikkelingen op repeatergebied in onze regionen: sinds zaterdag 19 februari heeft Vlissingen namelijk een nieuwe analoge UHF repeater.
Nadat enkele jaren is geëxperimenteerd met (alleen) een analoge repeater op VHF heeft de regio Walcheren nu een sterkere analoge repeater, dit keer op UHF op 438.4375 MHz.
Twéé UHF repeaters
Samen met de bestaande DMR repeater heeft de SRGW nu twee UHF repeaters als PI2VLI welke beiden hun opstelling hebben in Vlissingen.
De nieuwe analoge UHF repeater werkt op 438.4375 MHz met shift -7,6 MHz en TQ 88,5 Hz.
PI3VLI (145.6625 MHz) is komen te vervallen conform de jaarvergadering met de donateurs.
Daarnaast zijn er onlangs ook werkzaamheden geweest t.b.v. de website van de SRGW. Zo is de server weer van de laatste updates voorzien en heeft de website een nieuwe “look” gekregen.
hi my name isPaul Call sign M0DPH i am repeater keeper for GB3NY we seem to have a little problem your rx frequency is our tx frequency and your tx frequency is our rx frequency and we too have a ctcss of 88.5htz so we seem to have an endless loop tod was the first time we have heard this proberbly as there has been some troperspheric conditions i have cotacted the ETCC wich is our governing body so i will await there responce and keep you informed

Indeed interference was detected last sunday during misty conditions on the North Sea.
As you say our rx frequency is your tx frequency. This is something we can do nothing about since your and our repeater are transmitting and receiving according the country system and are licensed to do so.
This interference will probably happen only with exceptional conditions like last sunday with a lot of fog on the North Sea.
The only solution I can think of at this moment is a different CTCSS tone.This will hopefully block each other transmissions.
I hope this interference was a one time incident and will not happen again.
